Description: This is a really fun Clay Heart with a White Bird in Flight with a Crescent Moon and Cactus. This piece is all handmade & hand painted in the Burnished pottery tradition called bruñido by Antonio de Jesús Díaz Medrano (see photo 6). Antonio is a young artist from Tonalá in Jalisco Mexico, he comes from a long line of ceramic artists. It measures 4 1/4 inches Tall by inches tall by 4 inches Wide and 1 inch deep. Today Antonio represents the 5th generation of artisans, which he represents with great pride….. His family has been dedicated to the craft for generations.
