This ring is a costume ring, not quite a full scale cocktail ring, but it is a medium sized ring that does get noticed. The black onyx is shaped like a heart and set into gold tone metal. The stone appears to be wrapped in "ribbon" with a cubic zirconia on the very top. The sides of the ring are open metal and the back is thin with an approximate 2mm width at the back. It is sized as an 8 on a metal ring sizer. The ring continues to have a shiny gold tone. Conditional issues are surface scratching and a small amount of metal wear and degradation. This ring works nicely as a daily wear ring for work or errands and looks just as nice as a special occasion ring. We do not recommend wearing this ring while doing the dishes, bathing etc... to prolong the gold tone finish.
