These cases were purchased after testing to assure that Dahon Visc D18 folding bikes could be packed inside, and one bike can be fit inside each suitcase and thus be used to travel easily world wide. To fit the bike, each wheel must be removed as well as, handle bar from handlebar post and seatpost removed from the Bike. All of these "removals" use quick release components and are easy to reset upon unpacking. To load to suitcase, wheels are loaded first, followed by visc bicycle frame, followed by seatpost and handebar.. This is a tight fit and it is recomended that internal packing such as sheet foam, bubble wrap or comprable be used to protect components from each other and the lining of the suitcase. Tears to the lining caused by sharp details are not uncommon.
