Description: For purchase is a beautiful and unique Hedi Schoop mid-century Hollywood, California cachepot flower pot. The pot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is very minimal wear to the bottom interior. The rest of the planter show little to no signs of age-related wear. The planter has a substantial weight of almost two pounds. This piece measures as follows: 6 5/8" across the top opening6 1/8" high20 1/2" approximate circumference around the body It is marked on the bottom base as pictured. The maker's mark is very faint and difficult to read. It is marked Hollywood, California with the maker's name above that. This is a great piece of Hollywood, California pottery history. Hedi Schoop was a Swiss German cabaret dancer, sculptor and artist. Her company was active from 1940 to 1958. This is such an interesting and usable piece with the unique gray color, the beautifully painted feather, and the dark rose interior. There is also a thick silver rim at the top opening.
