Huntsville, Alabama, no date. German architect Heinz Hilten (b. 1909) worked with Wernher von Braun at the Peenemunde, working on test facilities for German rocket experiments (1939-1945), first as a civilian and then as an army draftee. After a decade as an architect for the City of Augsburg, he came to the America in 1954 as planner and architect at the US Army's Redstone Arsenal. From 1960 until his 1978 retirement, he was Architect and Master Planner at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, designing buildings and also missile test stands. He did personal work for von Braun, as well, designing his swimming pool. Hilten, age 101, celebrated his wife Kaete's 100th birthday in September 2010. Two vertical and one horizontal fold.
