We were blessed with her until she was 91 years old, and she did most of the Syrian cooking while she was alive. I have tried to remember her different recipes, and with Helen's cookbook and video it helps bring it to life. It is as though Mother has returned to remind me what to put into each recipe. There are meat recipes as well as vegetable based cuisine, desserts, and even how to make the old Syrian cheese usually served with breakfast.
