Description: This is a rare January 9th, 1939 program (playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the LAURENCE HOUSMAN play "VICTORIA REGINA" at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. (The Original Broadway production opened December 26th, 1935 at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City and ran for 203 performances before taking a summer hiatus in June of 1936. The production reopened August 31st, 1936 at the Broadhurst Theatre for an additional 314 performances. Following a tour, the production opened on October 3rd, 1938 at the Martin Beck Theatre in New York City for 87 performances before returning to the road.) .....
