Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Sterling Silver small individual coffee pot made by Heming & Co. with an unusual side handle for left handed individuals, c. 1936. This pot has a Georgian shape with a reticulated design around the spout, a thumb-hold attached to lid and has a dark wood handle. The hinged lid is tight with the dome shaped top opening and closing correctly. The pot is marked with English hallmarks for London, Sterling, date letter for 1936 and has maker's stamp for Heming & Co. Ltd. The base is also stamped "Heming & Co., Conduit St., London". The pot is in excellent Estate condition with no major flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of wear including one faint ding on the lower body (see photos). Measures 7 1/2" high, 5 1/2" wide (handle to spout) with a 2 3/4" diameter base. Weighs 405 grams. Please note that we also have the matching right handed pot available listed separately. These pots were often sold as pairs and are rarely found together as sets, however, we are listing these separately since the left handed one is so unusual. We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible. Although all sales are considered final, if there is an error in our description or a problem with our item, we will issue a full refund of the purchase price if contacted within 3 days after receipt of item, however, please note that we can not refund shipping charges.
