Description: The Heywood Wakefield Company of Massachusetts was a successful producer of wooden and rattan furniture in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This carriage is in very good condition and was bought from an estate sale of a collector. It has tight corduroy fabric inside attached with decorative upholstery nails. The frame & wheels are made of metal and has the original "Heywood" brass label on the front. The hood can be moved & positioned. Approximately 48" long 46" tall 21" wide.
