Description: I am selling from my collection a vintage Hickok Tube Tester TV-3U with Original Manual, for US Navy Watch the video that shows testing a Western Electric 275A. I used this tester for a number of tubes. The testing results are comparable to my other tester after using proper line adjust. Everything appears fine. However, I can't get GM readings from octal socket (for EL34, KT88 etc) although rectifier tubes (e.g, 5AR4) work fine. I am not a technician and can't troubleshot the causes. I suspect some of the components got off spec and render erroneous results. The new owner should be aware of this issue and ready to get it some service. Physical condition is good for the age. There are wear and scratches, as shown in pictures. It definitely benefits from a shampoo. Sale only includes the tester and the manual. No tubes, no 4-pin adapter in picture. This tester is quite heavy. Therefore not cheap to ship.
