Tsuba is in great condition with areas of minor oxidation to the iron plate; shinchu (brass) hawk delicately carved with no damage; 8.1 cm. X 7.6 cm.; nakago ana height: 2.8 cm. NOTE: There are no papers issued to this piece, however, it has been examined by Mitsuru Ito sensei in San Francisco in 2023 and judged to be the work of the 5th. master Shige Naga.
