Description: Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB condition FIRST PRESSING Vinyl Record issued in GREAT BRITAIN in 1956 on the His Master's Voice label and featuring performances of Violin Sonata No. 1 in G Minor and Violin Sonata No. 2 in B Minor (Partita No. 1) composed by JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH and performed by violinist YEHUDI MENUHIN. The LP is on the His Master's Voice label and is a 1st PRESSING with the serial number ALP 1512 and a high fidelity mono issue (there is no true stereo 1st pressing of this recording) made in Great Britain. This LP is in SUPERB condition and the vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition and should play beautifully, with just a few slight paper scuffs that should not significantly affect play and NO other significant imperfections (playback should be excellent, but please note that even the cleanest copy of violin sonata recording may have a couple of minor tics that should not impact play); the cover is also in NM condition and is a British flipback cover with a tiny gift inscription on the upper center edge of the back surface, a very slight crease on the lower right edge of the front cover and just slight shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout1 The original plain white inner sleeve is also included and in beautiful shape. Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded) Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches.
