The author, J Wesley Whicker, was a lawyer from Attica Indiana who took personal delight unearthing and preserving history, folk lore and legends. This book does show wear and aging, but condition is pretty good after 48 years. Very minor curling on the page corners, some yellowing of the paper and paperback cover is worn at edges
