Description: This auction is for 1 single buffer, but I will sell multiples as well. I have been making and selling these replacement buffers in small batches for years now via private forums , repair shops and parts dealers. Heckler & Koch Germany has even forwarded people to me for replacement parts! Now I am selling them directly one at a time so everyone else can get their guns in working order. These are absolutely the best and most durable HK4 replacement buffers on the market, and possibly the only ones now due to the bad reputation of the other buffer types. (Clear, white, and yellow). My buffers are known to the HK pro community as the RED buffers. No compromise! Advantages:* Tighter fit (installed correctly, it should stay put)* Longer lifespan (at least 500 rounds)* No need for buffer plate (great if this is lost or damaged)* Smoother felt recoil (because of the thicker buffer)* Less stress on frame* The only buffer able to handle .380 recoil. Everything else compresses so much during .380 recoil that the plate pops out and comes loose up in your recoil spring. This is when the nightmares happen. The next shot once the buffer plate comes out will ruin your buffer for sure, and stands a good chance of cracking your frame in half or causing harm. Especially the cheaper clear buffers also sold on ebay. Google a bit and look at all the pictures of peoples broken guns and mangled buffers these have caused. I make these out of a high duro cell cast polyeurethane sheet which I then slice up from multiple angles with a CNC laser. These are for use WITHOUT the buffer plate. As far as I know the poly material is resistant to any of the chemicals we are going to throw at it. I certainly had no issues with typical gun cleaning solvents on mine. No one else has reported a solvent dissolving these, but be sure to test it first. I find these pretty easy to install, I just push them in with the end of a pen or flathead screwdriver. They are much tighter than the factory ones were, but I find this is necessary. I don't believe you need a gunsmith to do this, but for some people it may be necessary. I send detailed install instructions along with them. One thing to note : always push them in from the side. There is a little lip on the frame of the pistol that grabs the back of the buffer. If you push the buffer straight down into the recess, this lip will not grab it correctly. While they have been thoroughly tested by multiple people and thousands of rounds, I still consider them to be experimental in nature and am not liable for any damages to you or your weapon. PLEASE note this is my test gun in the photos and is banged up from years of pliers and screwdrivers gouging and scraping it while developing and testing the buffers. These will not scratch your gun up, especially if you install them with something like a plastic pen. Feel free to contact me with any questions and happy bidding!
