Description: Offered is HO Scale kit which make one – 60 foot I-Beam with “X” cross braces made of laser board and simulating a steel structural bridge girder in HO Scale. These are made from 0.024” and 0.011” thick Laser Board. The Laser Board is Brown in color. The details include adhesive backed gusset plates with rivets. A jig is provided for accurate placement of the gusset plates. Also, you will receive complete assembly instructions. We have designed the length of the I-Beam so it can be shortened. The length of the I-Beam can be easily shortened by intervals of 7 feet (53 feet, 46 feet, 39 feet, etc.). This is further explained in the instructions provided. The kit has been designed with ease of assembly and high detail in mind. Laser cut precision for true-scale accuracy. Laser Board is a resin impregnated paper. The material accepts stain and paint extremely well. Resists humidity and warping. Flexible, yet not fragile. It is suggested to use Gorilla Super Glue Gel to assemble the Laser Board kit. Laser Board material cuts with no fuzzy edges and trims easily with scissors or razor knife. Laser Board has all of the positive qualities that other thin materials lack, making it the idea choice for small, delicate detail work.
