This standard dough hook works the dough from side to side in the bowl and is better suited for smaller batch sizes. It also is less strenuous on the motor than the spiral version which works the dough from the bottom up. I have more than one quantity of this item when the listing went live. As a result, the pictures that you see may not be the actual item that you will be receiving. However each of the other items is of similar quality and condition and are all genuine Hobart. The Hobart stampings, die numbers and "NSF" and "NSF8" certification stampings also changed in location and font and font size over the years. Some of the older attachments are not stamped NSF and have the size stampings on the side of the attachment. Some of the newer attachments are stamped NSF and NSF8 and have the size stampings on the top section of the attachment. If you have concerns about seeing the exact attachment that you will be getting prior to purchase, please message me for specific pictures.
