Description: Listed as used yet actually a new and Unassembled kit, interior bag opened first time by me for a proper parts count and photos, complete, these kits had the instructions on the box, and they were never sold with decals. The box shows some normal storage wear and is nice and bright, all the flaps are present, no tape, writing, odors, or repairs. Basically a 'Hobby Miniatures' brand, these kits were made in Hong Kong for a company called Gay Gem Products Corp, a company that specialized in party and novelty items. Resembling older molds, it is generally accepted that these kits are similar yet not identical to models of the previous decade. Quite an advanced part favor toy, the Hobby Miniature planes required glue to assemble and contained small and somewhat fragile parts. Few survived, especially a complete model like you see here. Collectors spend more than a few years hunting down their favorite kits, a small short run series that usually fell into the hands of children rather than modelers during production.
