Description: A Ford buddy of mine had this carburetor which was run on an SBC, so he wouldn’t even touch it and wants it sold lol. I broke it down to make sure it wasn’t all full of corrosion etc and as you can see it’s pretty straightforward. It has four corner, idle, both power valves are blocked off, 77 and 87 jets in the metering blocks. The one metering block did not have a reusable gasket as you can see so certainly that will have to be cleaned up but overall this would be a pretty easy rebuild or freshening. It does not have the Ford linkage for an automatic transmission kickdown and is missing all the manual choke components. It was full of oil to preserve it, and there are no screws seized up on it, including the four corner, idle screws. I know nothing of this carbs history.
