Description: Note: you must rubbermount gauges for long life! no warranty on solid mounted gauges, and they will vibrate to death quickly! i usually reuse the stock gauge mounts AND rubber grommets.Using the stock rubber bushings and dowel prevents you from over tightening, and also from the damage that mounting solidly will eventually cause to the intricate gear assemblies inside each gauge. That is why the stock gauges are rubber mounted. Please note that these are low cost/economy units,and only use one back light bulb, located at the lowerpart of the speedo, so the bottomof the face looks brighter than the top. The bulb is replaceable however, and you can buya higher wattage/brighter/different color bulb if you wish! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BEND THE V BRACKET, They are made of brittle, Chromed Steel, and will break easily! Brand New, 2.25" face Mini gauges MINI means they are NOT the same size as stock! FITS: ALL Bikes with 1:7 ratio- DOES NOT INCLUDE CABLES Nearly ALL HONDAS UP TO AND INCLUDING 550cc These will work for your SOHC CB350 CB400 CB450 CB500 & CB550! NOT for CB750 (see my other CB750 combo listing) CB750 CB900 uses 1:4 ratio However, the Speedometer will work on ALL HONDA's with a mechanical drive. I usually reuse the stock gauge mount holes on the upper triple clamp, and I reuse the rubber grommets, washers and sometimes the dowels. Do NOT bolt the mini gauges directly metal on metal, without rubber grommets to dampen vibration. They come with the flat, chrome, Y shaped mount bracket attached. However, they do NOT come with a rubber mounted clamp to clamp onto the handlebars. They can be mounted where your stock gauges mounted, ~if you use the stock rubber grommets for the mounting holes on the upper triple clamp. These will work for your SOHC CB500/550! not for CB750 (see my other CB750 combo listing) The Speedo will work on ALL HONDA's with mechanical drive. i also have 1:4 and 1:5 ratios. No tripmeter.
