Description: Fantastic plate used by Honey-Krust Bread, which was established in 1936 in Bowling Green, KY. The name came about because of the recipe which used honey in its making.Unlike most bakeries, Honey-Krust had a nearby building, called Hostess House, which was used by various local groups for meetings. This plate may or may not have been used there or it also could have been a giveaway. The 9 3/4 inch plate was manufactured by Bailey-Walker in the 1930s, according to its unusual Pyramid backstamp. The body is called Luxor Ivory and the green and black design is quite striking with the Honey-Krust name prominently displayed on the verge. This plate is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks, very minimal utensil marks. It's from my personal collection and I'm offering it to a new home.We ship US Priority Mail ONLY!
