Description: This is an opportunity to own an interesting piece of history likely minted between 383-423 AD. This is a barbaric version of the Honorius or Arcadius coin. You can tell by the design of the portrait it is barbaric. This coin is guaranteed authentic and in the condition you see in the photos. Grading is subjective. In my opinion, this coin is F/VF showing more detail than many of the barbaric specimens. It is minimus size but the die appears to be an AE4 die on a short flan. Please look at the high resolution photos to make your opinion. Here is more information on this great coin below: Honorius 393-423 AD. 'Barbaric issue'. Obv.: [DN HONORIVS OR ARCADIUS PF AVG], pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust. Rev.: [VIRTVS EXERCITI], emperor standing to left, holding spear and resting on shield; Victory crowning him with a wreath on right. Please look at my other NGC graded ancient coins and raw coins that I have listed. I have quite a few listed that mainly fall under the category of Biblical/Judaean.
