Description: This design is that of the "Horned God" a common motif, the horns denoting divinity the spear implying a possible connection to an Odin divinity, Wodenaz perhaps, of the late Bronze age. Inspired by the Scandinavian Rock carvings, such as in Tanum in Sweden and Alta in Norway dating to around 1500BCE. These necklaces are hand carved in ethically sourced bone mainly sheep and deer, inked and depending on style, brushed with a gold burnish or burnt in a fire for aged effect and lastly sealed with a water based acrylic sealant. Then strung on a coloured waxed cord with a rustic wooden bead.
