The book itself is nice and tight and bright, with some rubbing to the foot of the spine, and a previous owner's name whited out on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket is second state, price-clipped and with Horton's ear partially obscured by blurbs on the back cover. It is also chipped, has a few closed tears and is missing a small piece just above "Horton" on the front panel. Please see photos for more details on condition. Overall, a collectible copy of this children's classic.
