Gives about every OT story in good detail. Not for very young children. I would say better for 8 and up due to the detail. Great for adults wanting to familiarize themselves with the OT stories before reading the actual Bible. I have this edition, but I bet the new edition would be even better due to the improvements. There are no pictures at all in this edition; not sure about new edition. But again, this is a book for really wanting to get to know the Bible stories, not for a breezy enjoyment of the main stories.
