Description: First, disregard that fuzzy black mark that appears in various areas of the pictures. It is in my camera and NOT on the item. HTF large all sterling silver punch ladle in the NEW STANDISH pattern by Durgin. Durgin was long known for quality sterling. There is nothing flimsy about this ladle. This pattern was introduced in 1905 thru 1991. It features beautiful lines and classic design that makes it timeless. The ladle measures approx. 13 1/2" long and has two spouts on the bowl for pouring. There is no monogram. It is well marked on the back with the Durgin "D" and sterling. The "D" is light but it IS there. This fine piece from the past was manufactured in the United States by a company that is no longer with us. It is in very good pre-owned antique condition. I am fussy about what I offer. The ladle was very heavily tarnished when I got it, but I have lightly hand polished it as best my old arthritic hands can do so it will come to you clean, though it could use a bit more polishing on the bowl bottom. I believe you should get a clean item not one that is dirty or severely tarnished so I wash and polish my items as best as these old hands can do. Shipping includes insurance AND signature confirmation. I will only ship to eBay confirmed addresses.
