Description: For your consideration today we have the following. A Hubert Herr, Triberg, Germany, Black Forest cuckoo and quail hanging clock. The clock has a hand carved case adorned with pine cones and boughs and a deeply carved pheasant surmounting crest. The clock has a wooden dial with applied numerals, bone hands. The movement is a cast brass time and quarter strike 30 hour weight driven movement. The case in fair condition with some losses to the finish and some glue repairs. The birds in good condition. Signed movement. Pendulum looks to be original possibly a small piece missing, hard to tell. Does not affect function. It looks like replaced numerals, original pendulum, period weights. Please see pictures as they are part of the listing. Bellows look good, clean movement. Functions 30 minute test, not tested long term. Will need adjusting when clock finds a new home.
