Description: Vintage Italian Art Glass Bowl Description and Item Information Up for sale is this large, vintage Murano art glass bowl. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This substantial piece weighs just over 7 pounds. It is about 4 inches tall, 13 3/4 inches long, and 9 1/2 inches wide. This biomorphic piece has one sinuous fold. The glass is clear, with a large, oval opalescent spot. Within the opalescent area, there are various colored spots (pink, blue, purple) with bubbles. The flat base is ground and polished. This monumental piece would be a fine addition to a collection of vintage Italian art glass. Identification This vintage, unsigned piece is Italian art glass from Murano, Italy. It is possibly by Fratelli Toso. Condition This bowl looks very good overall, with no chips or cracks. It has light wear overall, with a fine, scattered scratch or scuff here or there.
