Thompson, with whom Steadman collaborated on the books Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72.Unpaginated, but about 176 pages. 9-1/8 by 12-1/4 inches. Very good / Very good. First edition (first printing). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket. Signed "HST" and "Hunter" by Thompson, and dated 10/12/79 on the introduction. This copy with a previous owner's bookplate and blindstamp on the front endpapers. The jacket has several tears, a missing a chip from one corner, and a couple of old tape repairs on the back (verso) at the top of the spine. Not the greatest copy, but for some reason this book doesn't turn up often in nicer shape, let alone signed by Hunter S. Thompson.
