Description: Description The first generation RG570 made in 1989!! In 1987, Ibanez underwent a major turning point. They reviewed their lineup and introduced three new electric guitar shapes. The S series, R series, and RG series, these new generation guitars debuted, and the RG and S series are still popular as Ibanez's main models today, with their basic shapes unchanged. Among them, the RG series is particularly popular and has many variations. This RG570 is an early RG model from the 1980s, but even now, more than 30 years after its release, it is used by many professional guitarists and has gained tremendous support due to its good sound and reasonable price. One of the reasons for its popularity is that it has the same body shape as the JEM series of Steve Vai, a super guitarist who had an endorsement contract with Ibanez at the time, and the basic performance such as parts is the same. When the RG was first introduced in 1987, there was no pickguardless, rear-route RG with an HSH pickup arrangement, but the RG550 with a pickguard and HSH pickup arrangement was a success, and the RG570 debuted two years later. The Basswood body is free of quirks, making it easy to create sounds with amplifiers and effects. The neck is an ultra-thin Wizard shape with an early Maple 1pc. scarf joint head. The pickups are arranged in an HSH configuration with a V1 in the front, an S1 in the center, and a V2 in the rear, producing a powerful humbucker sound and an automatic duo system with a single coil tap on the humbucker side in the half-tone position (commonly known as Vai wiring), which is effective for cutting and arpeggios with clean tones. The bridge uses an FRT type EDGE, and its smooth movement and tuning stability are still used in Steve Vai and Joe Satriani models, and are extremely trusted. There is no problem with the condition of the neck. The frets are in good condition with no noticeable dents. There are scratches and dents overall, but nothing major that would damage the wood or affect playability. The paint has faded and chipped. The back panel screws have been replaced. The truss rod cover has been replaced with a current RG one. Jewel Blue is the base color for Paul Gilbert's first signature model, the PGM100! This model is perfect for 80s-90s technical metal!
