Description: Black STUDDED FLAT knee boots by AZZEDINE ALAIA! They are the same boots as Claudia's version, but end just below the knee (hers are OTK). The other model is wearing the thigh-high and heeled version. These boots retailed for $1890+ tax at Net-a-porter (which is where they were purchased). The leather here is truly amazing – smooth, sturdy, soft and so amazingly supple – it just like a piece of art for your feet/legs! If you know AZZEDINE’S studded leather belt, you will understand what I mean and this is precisely the reason I bought the boots. Sadly, although they are a bit too big in the inslole for me, the are a tad too snug for me at the calves! These are knee high flat heel boots in true black leather, and full length back zip closure. The boots are lined with THE SOFTEST mauve/pink nappa leather throughout. The toes are rounded and simple. The back features full length zippers with ALAIA embossed zip pulls. The calves are on the narrow side, much like the usual ALAIA boots and if you have reasonably narrow legs (they don’t need to be particularly skinny), you’ll fit the boots just fine (I just happen to have a fuller leg and hate to have things fit snug). The boots are made to be worn with skirts, dresses, shorts or leggings! These are TRUE ART and TIMELESS! I found a magazine shot of the over the knee version of this boot worn with torn denim shorts and not much else. Well, they are certainly sexy, but I think that the flat, knee length boot version for sale in this auction is much more reasonable for daily life, but with the sexy, designer, rocker chic vibe entirely intact! They are ITALIAN size 40 (measuring about 10 2/3” insole, 16 ½” tall and 13 1/2” around the calf), and I feel they run true to size and are a good fit US 9.5B to 10B. However, please know what you wear in ALAIA and check the measurements above as poor fit is not my responsibility and this is a FINAL SALE!I’m selling these boots because they are a bit too snug around the calves for me. They will come to you BRAND NEW and IN PERFECT CONDITION!
