The book is a vintage edition of the famous work by St Francis de Sales, French bishop of Geneva. Condition graded as Very Good: some cover wear is noted and the gilding on the spine face is a bit faded, but interior text is fresh, clean and unmarked. There is a 1942 inscription in ink on title page from a seminarian at St Augustine's College in Toronto, a collectible vintage book especially in this smaller sized edition.
