Goes on completely clear and when subject to a blacklight emits a very bright illumination of the chosen color.These paints work best with a 365nm black light to excite the pigments. This can be a standard fluorescent tube blacklight or a good LED that is actually at 365nm. Any other nm range can reduce performance greatly of the paints or they may not work at all.
