Description: LISTED HERE A LARGE VINTAGE MOUNTED PICTURE FROM THE ARCHIVES. HISTORY OF RAILWAYS The Civil War of 1922-3 resulted in the regular patrolling of the railways by the army, with frequent battles between the Irish Free State Army Railway Repair and Maintenance Corps and the anti-treaty forces.
