From a family estate of a gentleman's collection of gay and male related photographs and ephemera. Most items are from the early to mid 20th century and includes loose photographs as well as some pictures that were cut by the owner from an antique photo album. Digital Reprint - matte finish This square 4"x4" portrait picture of a young and very athletic looking Ramon Navarro, dressed in athletic togs and sports shoes, crouched in the starting position, as if about to run a race. Since Navarro wasn't a particularly athletic man, it's very likely this was a publicity photograph from one of his pictures in the transition years between silent films and talkies. Because of the dimensions of the original photograph, this Digital Reprint has a small bottom white border of approx. 1/8" Note that because of the enlargement from my scanner, the image shown here is slightly more blurry than the print you will receive. Inclusion in this gentleman's collection does not imply that the people in the photo are gay or bi. Perhaps someone in the photo was a friend, or maybe he just picked up the picture somewhere.
