Description: This is a J Pole antenna cut for the MURS band. Constructed using 1/2" cooper pipe ,all welded SWR is 1.2 @ 153.00 Mhz , and less than 1.5 across the entire band. Antenna is tested at 100w (this is my power limitations ...but you can go with 500w easily). This J pole is collapsible so you can take it in a field day...perfect for a portable operation.Have a Female SO239 bolted (not riveted or welded) on the antenna to direct feed your coaxial line (50 ohms). Also available with a "N" type connector upon request at no additional cost.
