Description: Condition: 1889 (Sept. 27) cover from London to New York (Oct. 5), bearing 1d and 2½d cancelled by Lombard Street duplex and on reverse Postage Due 3c (J17) horizontal pair tied by neatly struck "New York/P.O." oval hand ...see scans for details...while the cover has some issues as shown, still an extremely attractive and scarce cover...I will guarantee these as J17's... I have added a nice selection of many stamps to my store. I fondly remember going to stamp shows as a child, enjoying going through counter books where I could pick out the 'ideal' stamp for me.
