Description: JABO Badger MarbleNeon Green AventurineMINT Run Date: 2/7/12 This Badger run from JABO was certainly an interesting one. According to anecdotes, there was an interesting experiment that took place during this run...it was called a "copper wire strand test" experiment. I'm not exactly sure what that even means, but there you have it. These experiments often take place before or after the actual production run. Occasionally, these experiments are attributed to what's called "Tank Wash" and some wonderful accidents happen. I don't know if this was the case here with these Badgers, but I thought I would add some fun trivia about this Badger run in this description. The neon green aventurine on this marble will knock your eyeballs out when you see it in hand! The way that this glass material sparkles always throws me for a bit of a loop. It's hard to comprehend the way that these glass orbs can contain such strong pigmentation in a smooth swirls. Of course, the oxblood and ivory colors complement very well, but that neon green...wow! I try to rotate my marbles and provide high resolution pictures with my DSLR camera and flash so you can see exactly what you are getting. This marble was made on the 3/4" marble machine and it measures 0.724" in diameter with a pair of electronic calipers.
