Description: JABO New Decade Baby Blue Dreams #1MINT Run Date: 2/8/10 This is another rarely seen JABO beauty. This run is called New Decade and this marble has some of the most gorgeous pastel colors that you will ever find on a JABO. Periwinkle is the one glass color that stands out for me with this JABO. The color Periwinkle is also called lavender blue and may be considered a pale tint of blue or indigo (aka pastel blue or indigo). Instead of big thick swirls of glass, this marble has the fine line micro swirls over the surface. This gives the appearance of multi-colored glass feathers fanned across the marble. This effect along with the chunky green aventurine and you end up with a distinct looking marble. The other noticeable pigments in this marble are the pale peach, eggnog and burnt orange along with just a touch of straw color. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with flash in order to show every single detail of the marble. I try to rotate the marble 360 degrees to show all sides. The surface quality here is very good, so again we have a wonderfully collectable marble from JABO. This marble was made on the 3/4" machine and measures a relatively large 0.746" in diameter.
