Each piece will be examined and tested using a GIA microscope, GIA refractomer, GIA spectrascope, and ThermoScientific Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer. How it works: When you send your piece (or pieces) in for testing, you will receive acknowledgement of receipt and the preliminary examination of your Jade. We will have a brief discussion and then your Jade will be fully tested. Upon completion of the suite of tests you will have the option of receiving the printout of the ftir scan results or you can select a full Jade Report (examples of both are in the image gallery). We will then package your piece for return, calculate the shipping and insurance and add that to the final price.
