I got these for a demo and they have been in storage for many years. There are no issues with the Batman besides a small mark on his chin and right cheek, but the Superman had moisture on the back of the box top area which partly shows on the interior. Otherwise they have never been played with. Never tossed around or used besides being on display or storage. The little plastic piece on the back of Superman was how they attached the cape to the box and can be cut off. The straps holding their arms are still intact and there arms can be put back in.
