A beautiful piece, which deserves a prominent spot in your redware or folk-art pottery collection. Condition: The bird is in very good condition with no cracks, repairs, chips, or hairlines. The piece has general crazing to the glaze, which truly does not affect the quality or beauty of the piece and is expected in a primitive piece such as this. There is some soiling and remnants of a label on the bottom of the base. Other than that, this is a great looking bird in excellent condition to add to your collection.
