Description: This incredible engraving by artist James Skvarch is properly named "Going Over Sketches for the last of the Big Paintings". The print measures 23"x15" and is framed out to 35"x26 1/4". The print depicts an imaginary scene of 18th century masters working to complete a grandiose great hall. There is so much going on the the print and so much detail in the etching that you can get lost studying all of the vignettes going on in the scene. The print is full of whimsy but the skill of the artist is paramount. It is no. 46 of a very limited run of 50 prints and the COA is included. This work was created in 1989.
