Description: JANE EYRE, One-fold Playbill type program, 05/18/43, Tour Audubon Theatre, Washington Heights, NY. The Helen Jerome play (based on the novel by Charlotte Bronte toured for The Theatre Guild during the winter of 1936-37 but never opened in NYC. This was another tour of the play but also never reached NYC. The cast includes Sylvia Sidney, Luther Adler, Ellen Hall, Vergel Cook, Lorna Lynn, Teresa Dale, Johnny Serarns, Rita Angel, Alice Forder, Marjorie Dalton, J.W. Austin, Curtis Karpe, Clyde Waddell, Joan Vitez, Vera Fulller Mellish and John Ireland. Directed by Luther Adler. One-sheet and on-fold programs were sometimes called preview sheets or balcony programs. The program is complete. This is NOT a reproduction!! Note: This is a regular Playbill size program. Condition is near excellent with minor wear including 2 light horizontal folds. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee.
