January -February 1966 LIFE Magazines A Collector Dream

Description: This is a rare opportunity for a collector to have a set of life magazines that are already hard bound and in near perfect condition, since these magazines were in a library, there are some pages that have the school stamp on them since they were out in the public until they were replaced with the next addition and stored ready to be bound so they are not without some markings of a school stamp, I didn’t find much writing at all in any of them so I apparently the students didn’t either use them much or they were very careful when using them I obtained these from high school who was closing down their library reference center, and turning it into an online service. These books are heavy duty and will be a cherished collectible item Look magazine was published every week and were bound in the order they were published That makes each book will have about 8 magazines I happen to have the entire 1966 set of life magazines except I believe there’s one magazine is missing out of the September-October book. It’s amazing to me to see in 1966 you could produce magazine like this with color pictures and articles and send it to your house for $.35. I have found it enjoyable and interesting to go back and read the articles that were written back in that time of history. I enjoy reading history so they made for extremely interesting reading.
