Description: Japanese Satsuma Pair of Vases Jacksons Antique are pleased to offer this pair of Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) hexagonal shaped vases. The vases beautifully formed with two large scenes side by side featuring blossoming flowers, foliage and birds to one and geisha figures with children to the other with hanging cherry blossom. The scenes are bordered by milliefleur style design with lappet borders and geometric shapes. Signed to the base Kinkozan 金光山. Condition Very minor rubbing otherwise excellent condition.
