Description: This plane has had very little use. I don't think it was ever sharpened. I cleaned the dai and waxed it twice. I buffed the dirt off the blades and coated them with traditional Japanese camellia oil to prevent rust. In Japan, it would have been used to cut grooves for sliding doors and windows. It could also be used as an non-adjustable rabbet plane. Note: the adjustable fence is missing.
