Description: This is a rare broadside (single page playbill) from the out-of-town tryout of the FERENC MOLNAR comedy "THE GUARDSMAN" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (The revival opened January 25th, 1951 at the Erlanger Theatre in Buffalo, New York and played 23 cities. Due to less than enthusiastic notices, the production closed on the road June 2nd, 1951, failing to arrive on Broadway.) .....
