Description: I am told that these items were used as dash decals of at least some American Motors Jeeps. I make these out of a specially coated aluminum that has the look of a decal (at least to me). Known to have been used in the late 1970s, they may have been used for all of the AM years of production. (1970-1987). They show the tire size, wheel size, maximum speed, date of manufacture, tire pressures and the identification number. I have seen them on 1978 and 1979 Jeeps. I will make yours with the data that you wish for your Jeep or just put some data that was correct for some models plus your Identification Number. The example is an original from 1979. I make them on a very special aluminum and it produces black and an off-white that is grayish. It is very close to the originals that I have seen. All of that information is printed on your plate at no additional charge. I make them about 4.25 inches by 2.6 inches, but can size them as you wish. One buyer told me that his original was 4 inches wide. When you buy, you will need to furnish the data that you want on the plate, OR tell me that you want all or some to be blank.
