These plates, machined out of 1/8" 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, will allow you to repair the door and reinforce the door latch area without body work. These plates come with 6 longer and stronger bolts to replace the 6 stock bolts which accommodate this version of the plates. In addition there are an additional 3 holes per plate for screws or rivets for further reinforcement. This auction is for both the driver side and passenger side door plate. **It is recommended that the door hinges also be repaired as they are the root cause of the door latch mounting failure. I have also designed a plate for the 97-01 Cherokees (XJ). The plates are produced in the USA by me and sold only by me. Anything else bearing a similar resemblance is a poor copycat.
