Description: The 1974-79 Jeep J20 Dana 60 rear axle was offset 3" to passenger side. This is true for both the offset rear output Quadra-trac transfer case and the centered rear output Dana 20 transfer case applications. The axle shafts are 30 spline 1.31" diameter. The driver's side axle shaft is 39" long and the passenger's side axle shaft is 33" long. The spindles can be bored out to run 35 spline 1.5" diameter axle shafts if the carrier is changed to match. The brake drums were removed to save weight. Disc brake conversion kits are available that bolt on to the backing plate flange.
